BioI teach kindergarten by day and use foul language by night. I'm queer. I surf. I like hot chocolate with whipped cream and/or irish cream. I have a weakness for secret crushes and parentheses. My inner child isn't very inner. I like to lie on the beach and play in the ocean. I knit poorly and sew well (update: I'm getting much better at knitting). I enjoy bacchanals. I ride my bike to work when the weather cooperates, and I'm learning how to feel safe without a bike lane (LOVE Bedford Avenue; screw Flatbush). I secretly can use semicolons and complex sentences, but decided not to. I don't own a television.
I'm here because I wanted an outlet that isn't regularly viewed by folks I work with. Occasionally I want to write about sex, or about politics in an abrasive way, and I'd rather it didn't come back to bite me in the ass.
I also wanted a way to stick all of my attempts at writing in one place. I've decided that I should write more, and some of it's bound to be awkward, but I'd like to see how I change (or not) over time, so I'm going to start by posting some of my blog entries from where I used to post, so I can look over it all. You (meaning anyone who stumbles upon this and gets this far) are under no obligation to read all (or) any of these. I just thought I'd let y'all know. I like comments, so long as they're either friendly or useful.
